Add/Configure Users: Built-in FTP Server / Mac OS X 10.3.9

Ave,

I'm running Mac OS X 10.3.9 on a PowerMac G5. I just want to use the built-in FTP Server that comes packed with the OS. I'm able to use the user that is defined as a Mac user, however, I don't know how to add more users.

Does anyone know how to add/configure users into this FTP server?

PS: At this time I don't want to look into alternate FTP Servers, I just want to get this thing up & running.

Thanks!

Well, i'm pretty sure, you have to make more users in the account setting panel, then log into each of the accounts and turn on the ftp setting.

The client OS X (not Server edition) does NOT have a built in FTP server! The Finder' FTP function is READ-ONLY. Unless you are a code monkey then go with a third party FTP server program, there are free ones floating around the net like FTPServer, along with many others.
