Confused about the Airport Extreme Security Update.

Apple have posted the Airport Extreme Security Update 2007-002. It says that this is for

Quote:
- AirPort Utility
- AirPort Disk Utility
- AirPort Base Station Agent

AirPort Utility v5.2.1 for Mac OS X 10.4.x or later software supports the AirPort Extreme Base Station with 802.11n, AirPort Extreme Base Station and AirPort Express Base Station.
I have an Airport Extreme Base Station from 2 years ago. Is this update for me?

I'm concerned because I do not have any of the three programs listed above (AP Utility, AP Disk Utility, AP Base Station Agent). I am currently using the Airport Admin Utility v4.2 and the Airport Setup Utility v4.2. My Base Station firmware is v5.7. I am running it through the Airport Extreme card on the iBook G4 1.42 (bought July 2005) and 10.4.10.

Did it come up on your Software Update?

Or have you tried downloading it and starting the install?

This and other Apple Updates will tell you, when you go to install them, if you don't need it ... and usually, if you are missing prior updates, what those are. As long as you keep all package receipts in the /Library/Receipts Folder. Never throw them away!

Nothing on Software Update - but I've never found an Airport update come up on that - only the computer updates appear on Software Update for me.

I haven't tried to download it yet - or install it.
