Arrow HP printer driver

I sincerely hope someone here will be able to assist me.

I have an iMac, G4, 800MHz, SD RAM 1 BG, 160 GB HD, OS 10.4.8.

I just had the 80 GB HD replaced with a 160. Since I got it back, I cannot get the computer to print at all. I have used my OSX installing disk and did a custom install of just the print drivers. I have used the CD that came with the printer. Then when I try to print, it doesn't "see" any printers available.

HELPPPP!

How is the printer connected? Have you tried adding it in Printer Setup Utility?

Yes, I've tried to add more printers, but it doesn't find any, even though I already reinstalled the printer drivers from my OSX Tiger installation disk, and reinstalled the HP drivers from the disk that came with the printer. I'm at a loss as to where to go now.

Well for printing to it you will have to use GutenPrint. For Scanning from it you will have to use something like VueScan.
