Internet Connect doesn't open properly

I'm trying to open the internet connect app to set up VPN, but the app appears to be corrupt. I click on the icon (which is no longer the blue icon, its now just the default "A" icon), it pops up in the dock briefly than disappears. I went on the apple site regarding internet connect, and it just suggested doing an update, I checked for updates but I'm already fully upto date. Is there anywhere I can download the standalone 'intenet connect' app? Or could someone be kind enough to upload their internet connect app to somewhere from their applications folder please? Thanks in advance!

Same problem as above. I got a message saying the internet connect file is damaged. I do have the install disc.
