    Remove "SpeedSafari"

I got this extra toolbar when I installed SafariSpeed. I don't know how to make it go away. It's almost a duplicate of my original toolbar (on top).

EDIT: Or a guide on uninstalling it would be appreciated too. I've tried removing the file which was dragged into the Apps folder, but no luck.

Have you tried editing the toolbar? Go to your Safari/View menu, and choose Customize Toolbar. You should be able to remove everything, and go back to the default toolbar.

I've tried. The original toolbar can be dragged and clicked, however the bottom one can't be dragged or clicked.

EDIT: Just plain ol' removing the app would be an option too.

I don't use SafariSpeed - isn't there any settings in that app for the toolbar, or any info in a read-me file that should come with an app like that?

'plain ol' removing the app' will not likely change that toolbar. The app has changed Safari's plist file. If the lower toolbar works, then you can try just removing the upper one. If the lower does not work at all, then try a reset of Safari (under the Safari menu). If that doesn't help, remove Safari's plist file from your user/Library/Preferences folder.

I've done that now. It's still there. What's going on? Can I reinstall Safari??

EDIT: I restored Safari to version two and SpeedSafari has packed up and moved away. Thank God!
