iPod Games removal

I have an iPod Nano 8 Gig (3rd generation) onto which I want to store a little more than 7 Gigs or recorded audio conferences (mp3, 64 bps recordings which, to my ear, is the maximum compression possible), and for which I want to dedicate this Nano exclusively and share it with friends.

"Notes", "Calendar" and "Contacts" are installed applications that can be useful to add informations concerning these recordings, but "Games" are definitely not !

Is there an easy way to remove the Games on an iPod Nano without affecting its operation ?

I know I won't gain much space, but these Game applications are so unrelated to the actual content of my Nano, and it sort of bothers me to have no option to remove, or at least hide them.

Thanks in advance.

The Apple games are built into the firmware, so they're difficult to remove. However, if you go into "Settings", you can disable the display of the "Extras" menu, and display Notes, Calendar and Contacts on the main menu.
