| MSN signing off
Hi Nio, Not aware of any cure or settings change. My son's Mac is connected to t'internet via network cable and he gets his MSN doing the same thing!! On the subject of using different software to chat (as in Eric's suggestion) I recently looked into using Apple's iChat instead. I would prefer to use this but from what I saw/tried it was a bit complicated! Maybe I'll look on this forum to see if it's possible/easy. darth |

I have the same problem... it never happens on my roommate's PC, and never happens to me when I am hooked up through an ethernet cord. Sigh.

| Mercury Messenger
Ahaha... yes, I just downloaded it. It's the first msn-messenger alternative I've found that can actually receive offline messages (amsn claims to be able to but freezes every time I let it try to retrieve them). AND it has this crazy ability to let you have random colors for each message! Fun for a while. Too bad for the guy I was dating a month ago that I got all those offline messages now and not when I was waiting for him to get a hold of me.... ah heheheh... yeahhhh. Woops. Hopefully that won't happen as often anymore. Thanks for the advice!! |
