| G5 Capture Card for Gaming? Howdy, I wanted to get some game footage up on my iMac G5, but I don't know the best way of hooking it up. Would a vid capture card work okay? I'm hoping to potentially be able to connect a number of different systems (starting from like, Genesis and up). I've also heard that there can second-delays... would that be the cause of the computer or the card? Or are the delays unavoidable? Also, I'm willing for any suggestions for the vcc I would get. Never done this before, so if some perform better, I'm all ears. I've heard of some ElGato stuff (EyeTV, 250), but I don't know if that would be best for this. Perhaps it would. <_< Sorry for the rambling, in short: I want to hook up some game consoles to my G5, I think a video capture card might work, I'm curious about frame delays and whether or not there would be any other issues. Yeah, I think that's it. Thanks. ![]() |
