| I have an iMac (vintage 2002) and use Mac OS 10.3 with an Epson Stylus Photo R300 printer. All of a sudden, I cannot print any more. The printer was tested on a different computer where it works. So, clearly, the problem is with my computer. The printer works fine in OS 9, which I occassionally use. My technican is unable to figure out the problem. I tried to download the appropriate printer driver from Epson, however, for some odd reason it won't let me do it but gives me the error message: "your session has expired, or the page cannot be found." I have tried it half a dozen times -- same message. I have run disk doctor; shut down system; unplugged everything; used different printer cable; rebooted -- nothing solves the problem. It has been suggested that the driver might be corrupted, which still does not explain the inability to download it. I am not very computer literate, therefore, any replies should be in simple layman's language, please! Thank you. -inge |

| How about Gimp-Print - now known as Gutenprint. See http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php3 . |

| See if you can download a trial version of Printer Setup Repair 4.2.3 (Panther Edition) and see if that helps.
