Switch with Flip4Mac crashes

I am trying to use switch to convert my wma to mp3 so I can play the same audio files on my ipod.

The first time Switch would not work as it complained about a Flip4mac plugin. After installing the plugin as a pref.pane, everytime I hit 'Convert' on Switch, it just crashes without any error code.

Anyone out there who has had a similar problem before or can tell me a freeware solution to converting the same. i have scoured the internet for answers. I do not want to pay for EasyWMA. Anyone who can help me out?
