Custom keyboard shortcuts

I have dozens of customized keyboard shortcuts (System Preferences: Keyboard & Mouse: Keyboard Shortcuts). Something happended yesterday and now they are all gone - I'm back to my default shortcuts. (I tried logging out and rebooting, etc, to no avail). I thought I would be able to restore the the preference file from a backup, but I can't figure out where these settings are stored.

Does anyone know where the custom keyboard shortcut settings are stored?

Thanks.

I'm running a 20" intel iMac 10.4.10.
