Remove unwanted admin

I have a friend who has a mac laptop and the guy who set her laptop up named himself as the admin on it. She wants to remove him and doesn't know how and I am not an apple person and would like to help her do this. help?

Hi Henly,

In System Preferences, go to Accounts pane, and delete the user from there. There has to be however at least one user with Admin rights on this Mac, so if the other user isn't an Admin, upgrade its rights first to that level. To delete a user, you must be logged in as another user (and not have the user to be deleted logged in). The detailed steps are at this kb.
