APPLE HEAD is on a distinguished road
Question Upgraded to leopard (need advise on finding mail history)

Hello. Does any one know how to import the mail and address book files from
10.49. I had a corrupt drive and am unable to use the utility that does it for you (migration assistant). All my important documents and other stuff was transfered manually. (from another drive)

THANK YOU

jbarley will become famous soon enough
The folders you need are under "user/Library/Mail" and "user/Library/Application Support/Address Book"

Also look in "User/Library/Preferences" for .plist files with mail and address book in the name.
The above folders will get your data and the plist files get your settings.

Copy the above to the same locations on your new install.
