Simultaneous Kernel Panics on two iBook G4's

This is a really strange one, so bear with me...

My Girlfriend and I have identical iBook G4's (only difference is that I have 1GB Ram and she only has 512, as well I'm running 10.4.11 and she's on 10.4.8 as she's too lazy to update). We were studying together at our university, connected to the same wireless network, and both plugged into the same outlet. Suddenly we both get a Kernel Panic at the exact same time (multilingual message in the grey box that says to restart - as soon as it came up on mine I looked over at her screen and she had the exact same message). This was about a week ago.

Since then I've had a few additional kernel panics (maybe 3 more over the next week, including two occurring today) whereas she has not had any. This in itself is odd as neither of us has had a kernel panic before in the over two years that we've had our iBooks. On my end, I've repaired disk permissions and uninstalled the beta version of firefox I was using as I thought Firefox might be responsible for my repeated panics. It's too soon to tell if that has resolved the problem as it only occurs intermittently, but there's nothing I can think of that would explain both of us having our first kernel panics at the exact same time.

Any ideas?
