DVDxDV extraction problem

DVDxDV extraction problem

I am using DVDxDV to covert DVD's to Quicktime files to use in Final Cut Pro.
I used this program very successfully last summer and then hadn't used it since my Leopard upgrade.
Now 95% of the files I create have an error message that "This is not a movie file." even though the file DVDxDV creates are listed as Quicktime files.
Any thoughts?
