Can only print 3 or 4 pages with HP 5550

I reinstalled the latest HP 5500dn driver from the company's Web site on a Mac Pro dual-Core Intel Xeon running Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11.

InDesign 5.X (Adobe CS3) documents generally stop printing to this printer after 3 or 4 pages (out of an 8 page document for example). This also applies to Word documents. However, the computer prints all pages to a network Xerox Color Phaser and HP Color Laser 4600 printers that are nearby.

Windows XP computers appear to fully print the InDesign and Word documents.

The problem is pointing towards the driver, but I am unable to determine the cause.
