Chicken of the VNC can be found here.

You'll need to open up the target computer's Sharing Prefs and enable Remote Desktop Access and there should be a checkbox for enabling VNC, and entering a password. You'll need the target machine's admin credentials when you try to save that, but from there it's cake. I just did it for the first time this morning.

Apple's Remote Desktop software also does this thing, albeit for a price. One thing it has over VNC is that you can view ALL computer's monitors at one time (each screen in a different, small tile on your screen), whereas with VNC you're relegated to connecting to each computer individually.

Of course, Remote Desktop only works with Apple computers, whereas VNC will allow you to do Windows, Mac and Linux all at once.

For the record, I think you can use ARD with Windows clients, but they won't support all the features (because they are running VNC).

Ah, yes, since Apple's Remote Desktop is VNC-based, I gotta correct my statement to say, yes, you can do everything you can with a regular VNC client plus a whole lot more... you just can't get it free.
