Replacement of Defected Imac

My problem is not technical any more, but i don't know whom to report my case to, so please help.
I bought a 2.0GhZ, 1x1GB/250GB/super drive/20" screen/ Imac from a shop in Dubai on December 2007.
I hand carried it home in Tripoli Libya. In less than two months it became out of order. I had to take it to an approved Apple maintenance shop in neighbor country Tunis. They investigated it and told me that the computer is defected and should be returned to original shop for replacement. It would cost me at least three times the price of a new Imac to carry it to Dubai. To ship it or mail it is very hazardous and there is no guarantee the shop will ship me a replacement . There are no Apple computer shops in Tripoli Libya. What shall I do to have this computer replaced.
