| External Hard Drive Not Working I have an 80 gig external hard drive that used to be used on a windows pc. its formatted to fat32 (or so it says in windows) but it still isnt useable in mac. ive tried disk utility an it doesnt turn up there either. its not a wire problem since it works fine with windows. HELP!  |

| What OS X and what Mac are you using? On you Mac did you go to Finder's preferences and put a check mark in 'Hard Disk' to Show on the desktop? On you Mac have you reset the Pram? When was the last time you did some maintenance (with either Yasu or Onyx) on that Mac? To help you we need some information.
