| Installing 0s 10.5 0n New Hardrive I am going to install a new hard drive (160gb ) upgrading from 80 on my MacBook I have the discs for 10.4 but I have purchased a full install of os 10.5. I will also be upgrading memory to 2gb ram. I want to install 10.5 without reinstalling 10. 4 first on the new hard drive. Should I put in the first disc of 10.5 while my old hard drive is still in & than turn the computer off & than swap everything or can I swap the hardrive & upgrade the ram and than start up the computer & put in the 10.5 disc? I dont know if there is information on the new hard drive that will enable me to get the first disc to start after the swap. Any other hints after 10.5 starts loading would be appreciated |

| Your mac will know how to handle booting with or without the hard drive, so you can just swap the drives then put the disk in and boot up.
