| DVD Player encountered a serious error. Ever since upgrading to Jaguar I get this message when I open DVD Player: DVD Player encountered a serious error. Unknown Error. [1634955892] Then it closes. How can I fix this?

| From Apple's TIL; Symptom When you open DVD player an alert appears with this message: "DVD Player encountered a serious error. Unknown error. [1634955892]" appears. Products affected DVD Player for Mac OS X 10.2 or later Solution Rename or remove the earlier HIServices framework installed by the Developer Tools package. To rename the framework, enter the following commands into the Terminal: cd /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ sudo mv HIServices.framework HIServices-old.framework http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75458
