| I accidentally accepted a software update for an application that I didn't want updated - does any one know how to reverse the update? |

| Archive and Install your OS, and update with combo update to the previous version of that software. They didn't build in any way to remove ONE software update... |

| Depending on the application, you should be able to delete the /Application, then reinstall, apply all working updates. It wouldn't hurt to delete the /users/you/library/preferences/com.manufacturer.application.plist file either.

| The answer depends very much on what the application is you're trying to "downdate".
