Epson Stylus 3000 color printer install

I have an iMac OS 10.4 tiger. I have been routing my epson thru and older version Mac. I have downloaded the OS 10.4 driver but am unable to get it to print. What am I doing wrong?

Add the printer in "Print & Fax" in System Preferences.
