Safari not remembering multiple passwds

Since "Upgrading" to 10.5 and what ever version of Safari that comes with it, I have run into a problem where Safari will only remember the most recent user/pass for any given site.

In the past, suppose you visited a site with a login box, and you owned two different logins, old Safari would remember both of them. You could recall either one of them by simply hitting the down arrow while the curser was in the field, and a menu would appear allowing you to select the desired user/pass combo.

Now, new Safari will only remember the very last user/pass that you entered into the fields...No menu full of your various logins will appear like it used to before. The only thing it seems to be able to recall is the very last login. Unless I'm doing something wrong?? Is there a way to tell the new Safari to remember multiple logins for a web page, like the old one did automatically?

I hope this is not yet another "lost" feature of the "new" OS, to go on my ever-growing list useful features that have been removed. (I used to love being able to send SMS messages to recipients from within the addressbook program, so gee, let's just remove that perfectly good functionality and call it an "upgrade")

Thanks!
