Question TimeMachine on iMac G4

Hi,

Just bought and connected timecapsule to my network. All went smoothly, but only after I set the timecapsule to be the MAIN component of the WDS network. Now I have 4 macs using the timecapsule for time machine.

I have however a little issue with the iMac G4 which will not backup unless it is "active". This is a completely different behavious of the other 3 macs that will backup even if in "sleep"mode.

All have leopard latest release and the preferences setting for "emergency savings" are all the same.

Any ideas?

This might just be that the G4 hardware is different from your other macs. A quick fix would be to set display sleep to whatever you want, and computer sleep to ~ an hour.
