Mysterious Green Line

Hey Guru's,

I have been using a program called SnapZ to capture movie clips on my computer monitor. The outputted file from SnapZ isn't most reliable so I re-export that out using the Apple Pro Res codec. Importing that newly exported file into FCP (Final Cut Pro) is seamless and under these sequence settings:

Frame Size: 852 x 557 (custom)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
Field Dominance: None

Compressor: None

As a result there is a lingering mysterious green line that is visible left side of the canvas. During playback there is also sporadic noise and lines that are visible in that green line.

check out that link, there is a visual image of what I am describing.

Is there something that I am overlooking? Is this apple pro res codec not sufficient for my purpose? Has anyone else encountered this particular scenario before?

Thank all so much in advance.
