Safari is not launching

I have an imac G3 - panther- running on msx 10.3.9--I've had Safari for almost 5 yrs & recently I thought I could upgrade but instead I've lost
Safari all together--I still use Opera, Firefox & IE but I liked Safari a lot.
I have the most bookmarks on Safari & can't get into them now.

Help --I'm very frustrated--
