| Mac Osx 10.4 Xserve G4 Sometime around the middle of the day we notice that PHP My Admin stops accepting logins to the MYSQL Database. Soon after (20-min to 1hr) The database goes down. If I try to reboot the server the logout hangs and I have to hard-boot the box. This happens everyday. I see nothing in any of the traditional log files to indicate a problem. Is there some way of monitoring the box during this time? An app perhaps that shows me real-time stats on the server? Any help would be appriciated |

| The Mac OS X Server Admin tools can be used to monitor the health of the server either from the server itself, or over the network from another machine. Install the tools on a networked machine, and connect using the server's name or IP. Server Admin Tools contains tools that can start and stop a mySQL database. You can also remotely ssh into the XServe to monitor the mysql process manually.
