Pages in OS 10.5.2 hangs

iWorks 08 "Pages" hangs at times and will not force quit. This also happens occasionally with iTunes. The only solution seems to be to do a hard shutdown of the computer and rebooting.

I've Renewed the Permissions and restarted and rebooted several times with no solution.
