Can't connect to internet thru Airport

Macbook with OSX 10.4.11
D-Link Modem DSL 320-T
Airport Express

I recently bought the new modem and went thru the D-Link 'wizard' to set it up just fine for ethernet connection, but I'm having no luck connecting to internet thru Airport. Green light is on, five bars on the toolbar, Internet Connect says it's connected but when I open Safari - no deal.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
