Display folders

When opening Entourage (Microsoft Office 2004), the folder command under View does not work and the folders are not displayed. I can then check Folders and have them displayed. But next time I open Entourage, the Folders (and the check beside the command in the View menu) are again not displayed. Any way to make the check on Folders permanent?
