Sticky Windows and general window issues in OSX 10.4.11

Has anyone else had this issue when using StickyWindows (specifically version 2.4.1) - where once you have placed a window on a tab, when you click the tab to bring the window back to the front it immediately goes to the back again and then disappears into the tab again?

It seems to be the only way to get the tabbed window to re-appear on top is to double click the tab, with the correct timing as it is going to the back again.

It's very annoying. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

A similar issue I seem to be having is that when I am working with one window, and click something in it that causes another window to pop up, then close the new window - instead of switching back to the window that I originally came from (the one that I clicked), some other random window comes to the forefront. It seems like this is generally firefox of thunderbird that come to the front of other windows all the time.

I have no idea if these two issues are related - I do know though, that even when I have only one window/app open, and I tab it in StickyWindows, the same issue occurs where it just appears and immediately disappears when I click the tab - even though there is no other app/window to be in front.

I know this post isn't too clear, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
