| Photoshop Error when saving:
I am getting an error of "Could not complete your request because there are too many files open. Try closing some windows and try again." whenever I try to save a project (approx. 35MB in size). This is a brand new computer and I don't understand why I am getting this error. Has anyone received this error before?

According to this Adobe thread - http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bc488fb this error comes up most often if you try to open from, or save a file to a network server. Seems to be mentioned several times Quote:

| RE: Photoshop error
I just don't see why this just all of a sudden happened. We have 2 separate graphic departments and run 4 macs, and about a dozen PCs on a networked storage device and all but one is working flawlessly. All are using photoshop/illustrator CS2 and CS3.

We also tried saving directly to a LaCie drive connected via firewire and the same error popped up.

If you read through that thread, you will see that Adobe specifically does not support working across a network. But, also, that doesn't mean that it can't work - just that Adobe doesn't support that function. Can you save the file locally, then copy it to that external/networked drive? What did Adobe tell you when you asked them about it?

| RE: Photoshop Error
I got it fixed. All I had to do was boot in root user, uninstall all adobe, run the cleanscript, and reinstall. Now onto Office Mac.
