Built-in Screen Capture Saving To Clipboard instead of files on desktop ??

Hi all.

I'm running 10.5.2 on a MB Pro. Previously, when I used the built-in screen capture utility (Command+Shift+3 (or 4)) the capture would be saved in .png format into my "Desktop" directory.

Now, when I do captures the data is not saved to a file, but instead is copied to my clipboard .. Why and how can I correct this?

Open System Preferences->KeyBoard & Mouse and then select the KeyBoard Shortcuts tab and see if the shortcuts for the pictures have been altered.
