Exclamation Speeding up my G3

Hello. I have a G3. I would like to speed it up with some software. Is there anything I can run to close some background apps that arent needed e.t.c...

What do you have running already? If it's a basic, stock, unmodified install of OS X, then it's pretty much running at the maximum speed it's going to run.

What programs have you added since you installed OS X?

You could try replacing the video card with something that supports Core Image, although I don't know of any Mac compatible video cards off the top of my head that are available for PCI slots (assuming this is a Power Macintosh G3 B&W).

I've deleted te dock and replaced it with pocketdock.
Also: Ive deleted the dashboard.
It makes a huge difference
