| What do you have running already? If it's a basic, stock, unmodified install of OS X, then it's pretty much running at the maximum speed it's going to run. What programs have you added since you installed OS X?

| You could try replacing the video card with something that supports Core Image, although I don't know of any Mac compatible video cards off the top of my head that are available for PCI slots (assuming this is a Power Macintosh G3 B&W). ![]()

| I've deleted te dock and replaced it with pocketdock. Also: Ive deleted the dashboard. It makes a huge difference |
