Unhappy No Shared Category in Sidebar of IMac

I have a 7 month old IMAC 24" and installed Leopard a month ago. There is no Shared category in the Sidebar portion of the Finder window. I've been on the phone with Apple support and they come up with nothing.
Thanks,
Mike Davis

Are you looking for MAC's or PC's on your network. MAC's will appear when on the network and turned on. PC's will only appear if you add the workgroup of your windows network to your mac (SYSTEM PREFERENCES>NETWORK>ADVANCED>WINS> Enter workgroup name). Again, sharing will only appear if other clients are attached and on. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. Good Luck!
