| Text coming up at startup Little background info, recently got a used Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics), had some problems with it finding the monitor and keyboard but figured out I needed to restart the CUDA button and replace the battery. Which I did but now that I got it starting I am having trouble. When the apple screen goes away and the blue comes up text comes on the screen that says system error and bunch of numbers, the last thing says waiting for debugger connection. Does anyone know what this means and what to do? I have tried to start up from disk (1st Tiger disk) but it's not starting up from disk. Thank you, much appreciated. |

| It's a "kernel panic", which basically is the worst possible error message of Mac OS X, meaning a reboot is necessary. Usually, it means a hardware error. I'd consider testing the RAM. (Take out one DIMM, then the other etc. or replace the RAM completely for a test.)
