Kernel panic g4 imac 8000

I don' t know what happened but my imac won't boot. I am running Tiger with all the updates so that should put it at 10.4.11? I think. When it started going strange I got it to boot and changed the startup disk to the Tiger disk to do a permissions repair. that is when I got the kernel panic messages in several languages. I have a copy of Disk Warrior on hand but with the Tiger disk in the dvd drive, I can't put it in. I need solid advice now - PLEASE!

At startup, hold down mouse button to eject the disc.
Run Apple Hardware Test (from install disc 1 that came with that mac).
Remove any added RAM.
