safari 3.0.4 iBookG4 java cookies

hi. i have safari 3.0.4 on an iBook G4 and can't get any javascript. all the advice my iBook gives me tells me to go to the safari menu > preferences > security. the safari menu gives me a preferences box with nothing but how many points large i want the type and what typeface. the apple menu's security is for securing the laptop with a password. neither one is anything to do with enabling cookies which is what my iBook tells me i need to do. thank you very very much. i swear i keep trying and cannot find how to enable cookies. thank you!

So when you click first Safari> Preferences> you should see the prefs window (see attached img.)
and click the security and enable the following that i've circled.

Let us know if you are still at a loss.

Warmly,
