leapard vlc

Hi
I find the sound stutters using vlc when connecting to a stream is this a leopard issue, anyone know of a solution?

It's "leopard" or "10.5". what kind of streams? do you have an example one could test? I'm only using VLC for local files, currently, so I hadn't noticed any such problems. also: which exact version are you using, both of leopard and vlc?
