panther runs slow recently

Panther has been running very sloiw lately - no reason why--
very frustrating

Hi Nancy, how much free space do you have on that system?
My wild guess is that the hard drive is getting full. Anything under 15 % free space no matter how big hard drive will cause slow system and maintenance to not be able to run...
