import Entourage db into Entourag

Using Spring Cleaning, I exported my Entourage data base (more than a gig) to my second hard drive (choosing the option, "leave alias), figuring I'd re-import my Project Folders and Address Book.

However, the exported Entourage database is not an rge file. It is an Entourage icon with the file name, "Database"

Now, with the new, clean, empty Entourage (which i then had to set up as if for the first time), when I choose "Import information --from an Entourage archive," of course the Entourage database is greyed out.

How to import these specific items?
