Rev.G.J.Harpole is on a distinguished road
Skype incoming calls not ringing.

I just recently set up Skype on my G5. I can make calls out and I even have voicemail set up. I bought an online number for people to use to call me. Unfortunately, the ringing sound of a phone does not sound when a person calls me. How do I fix this problem? I am disabled and ill.

You have fixed the problem discussed in the first paragraph. Could you please take a look at the Safari problem mentioned in the second?

The majority of my calls are long-distance or long local ones and this is killer to a Cell phone bill. I have not been able to get "Earthlink Truevoice" or "Vonage" to work because Safari wont open the web page that I need(http://192.168.1.1) or (http://192.168.15.1 to finish the setup for either of those two systems. Can you please help me?

Thanking you in advance, I remain,

Yours truly,

Rev. G. J. Harpole

I hope I'm not misunderstanding your question but you need to set the ringing sound via Skype's preferences, which are to be found by clicking Skype (top left), choosing Preferences -> Audio, or Notifications. In Audio I can set Ringing to sound through either headphones of internal speakers. Make sure your computer speakers or headphones have the volume set as you need it, and that you haven't inadvertently checked the Mute option.

Those numbers are your router addresses. Contact your ISProvider to work through the required settings. Alternatively, try using a different browser eg. FireFox.
