Burned cds being read as blank

I'm running an imac G5 with Leopard 10.5.1 and for some reason when i insert a previously burned cd i just get a message saying that the cd is blank.

I know for a fact that the cds were burned properly and contain the data (be it a game, music or something else) as i've used them before successfully after burning. Strangely enough, this has only started to happen since i upgraded to Leopard.

Would anyone have any idea why this might have happened, and any idea how to recifty the situation?

Cheers,

Richard
