iphoto, screensaver, colorsync crashes: Unable to read ICC profile

Hello,

on my Imac G5 powerPC 1.8ghz, iphoto is crashing each time I'm trying to edit a picture full screen, or run a slideshow.
using or testing screen savers are crashing too.

the console indicates an error: Unable to read ICC profile

iphoto crash log indicates:
Link (dyld) error:
image not found /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/OpenGL

In addition, launching imovie pops up an error message: "iMovie requires a quartz extreme graphics card..."

All these apps were running fine 1 week ago. I can't tell what has been updated.

I tried to recalibrate, use an other login, apply the 10.4.11 combo...same result.

Does anybody have an idea before I reinstall tiger ?

thanks for your help

Open up System Preferences and go to the Display section. Click the Display button and make sure that "Colours:" is set to Millions in the pull-down menu ... if it has, then just select something else from the pull-down menu, then return the setting to Millions.
