| Need urgent help! I'm writing this on Windows using Boot Camp on my Macbook. My Mac does not want to go into Mac OSX 10.5.3 It says various programs did not launch, such as dock, finder, iCal helper, and others. I can only get to the wallpaper, I can't see the menu bar, dock, or icons. I also don't have a backup ![]() Is there anything I can do? |

| Did 10.5.2 work OK? If so, something went wrong. Down load the combo updater from Apple & run that. Here's the link: http://www.apple.com/support/downloa...mboupdate.html

| Yes, I could use the system with 10.5.2. How can I run that update if I cannot use the Mac OSX system? |

| When going to the Mac OS X partition, hold down Shift so that it boots into Safe Mode and see if you can get a working desktop that way. If so, then go ahead and install the 10.5.2 Combo Updater that way.

| I'll try that! Does it normally take longer to boot than normal? |
