| Open disk drive in screen sharing I did a few searches for this and didn't find anything... I also confess I may be totally missing something. I have a G5 tower I run via screen-sharing from my MBPro. Works great – I can do anything I want. The only kicker is TO OPEN THE DISK DRIVE I need to either manually hook up a keyboard or use the diskutil command. Am I missing some basic functionality here? A petty aggravation I admint, but come on... Having to open a shell to insert a disk makes me think I'm missing something. |

| I take it you are referring to your optical disk drive? jb

| I believe this works in Leopard as well: http://www.tuaw.com/2008/05/22/mac-1...-the-menu-bar/ You can simply add an "eject" menu to the menubar and open/close optical drive trays that way.
