Wireless Network Priority

I share my wireless internet with my 2 roommates free of charge. However, every now and then one of them will queue up a list of music to download (for example) and it bogs down my own connection considerably.

I'm looking for a way to prioritize my host computer so that the others don't overpower mine when I'm playing an online game or something that needs a steady connection. I tried looking in System Preferences>Network>Network Port Configurations, but that doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

I'm sure there's a simple solution to this, I just can't seem to figure it out. I would really appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
