Leopard Freeze after Update 10.5.3!!!

My PowerBook 17 has frozen after installing the Latest Leopard Update. I'm stuck on the Apple Logo Screen with the Spinning BeachBall after the Restart. It's been a few Hours now. I've never had a problem with my Pwrbook Before this in Four Years!!! Please help Me.

Do you still have access to the Leopard install disk and/or your original install disks? If you have the Leopard install disk boot with that disk and run Disk Utility and repair check your hard disk. I say this because you hard disk may have failed.

If you have your original install disk one of the should say (in small letters) "Hardware Test" to test if something broke in your Mac.

I wouldn't really say the update killed your Mac. It just might have found a bad sector on your hard disk or something else might have broke.
