jedi academy MP (version 1.0.3e) error

Well, I had just downloaded the latest patch of Jedi Academy for Mac (Rev E). When it downloaded I ,of course, installed it and when it did I started MP of Jedi Academy. Then when it started all yellow or orange effects(like blaster and weapon effects, not lightsaber) were more...pink and purple-ish. I removed every mod I had ,reinstalled the game and I still had that problem.

Specifics: I am running Mac OS X version 10.4.11 Tiger
/I have an Intel iMac 17" (not aluminum)

and that's about it. I hope you can help me, this has been driving me mad.
